Sensormatic Hook : who what when why ??

Sensormatic Hooks haven’t been around for very long, I only came across them a few weeks ago actually. Some guys at my dorm had a few and use them to get their discounted shop once a week at the local mall.

Lets start with where you can get a Sensormatic Hook: Sensormatic Hook

So what is a Sensormatic Hook?

A sensormatic hook is the name for the spare arm in the sensormatic detacher.
Sensormatic is a company that specialises in retail security products, inclu

ding security tags and security tag detachers. Among the better of their products in the Sensormatic Supertag security tag… which is the favoured tag among retailers especially clothing retailers?

The sensormatic hook fits into the larger detacher, which is typically bolted to a workstation so it cannot be stolen. The sensormatic hook is the mail working part and the part that actual goes inside the security tag and releases the latch holding the pin and hence the garment in place.

So why sensormatic are hooks so popular?

The sensormatic hook can be used independently to remove a wide range of security tags. It can remove security tags typically under ten seconds and without any damage what so ever. Unlike the larger security tags detacher the sensormatic hook i

s small and can be kept in your pocket… undetected making it the latest tool of choice.

There

has been an influx of fake sensormatic hooks on the market that frankly just don’t work as well… you might be able to open one or two security tags but then they bend and break.

How do you spot a fake sensormatic hook… they are difficult to spot but typically the quality of steel is poorer and hence they don’t shine as much also they are cheaper than the real hook – selling for less than $20 bucks.

I brought a fake hook the first time and I broke it while I was practicing how to open hooks!

I brought a second hook from http://removesecuritytags.com/ and I have been using the hook for about 3 months now, and I have opened well over 250 tags and it’s still looking brand new.

How much are they – good hooks like the ones on the site above cost about $40 bucks but you can make your money back within an hour of owning it!

I personally keep my sensormatic hook on a keying – you never know when your going to keep it!

Thanks for reading; I hope you enjoy your sensormatic hook
